(Eagle News)–Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is mulling filing charges against Peter Joemel Advincula, who accused the senator of being behind the “Ang Totoong Narco-list” videos against President Rodrigo Duterte, members of his family and allies.
In a statement, Trillanes said he would be consulting with his lawyer for this.
“This could be another ploy of the administration to harass the opposition,” Trillanes said.
“I deny the allegations made by this Bikoy character,” he added.
In a press conference, Advincula, who surrendered to the police on Wednesday afternoon, said Trillanes and the Liberal Party were behind the videos, which were aimed at discrediting Duterte’s former aide, Bong Go.
Go won a seat in the Senate in the recently concluded May 13 polls.
