(Eagle News)—-Lawyer Ferdinand Topacio has filed a perjury complaint against Senator Koko Pimentel.
The complaint filed before the Manila Prosecutors Office stemmed from the electoral sabotage case the senator filed against now Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and others in 2011.
Topacio was Arroyo’s lawyer at that time.
The filing took place even if the Pasay Regional Trial Court cleared Arroyo in 2008, granting her demurrer to evidence.
Pimentel is seeking reelection in the May elections under PDP-Laban.
