(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over several parts of Metro Manila.
In an advisory issued at 9:10 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the warning covers Quezon City, Marikina, Pasig and San Juan.
It said the heavy rains, lightning and strong winds may persist within one to two hours in those areas.
Residents were also advised to take the necessary precautions against possible flash floods and landslides
