Thunderstorm advisory raised over Metro Manila, Bulacan

Portions of Pangasinan, Nueva Vizcaya under rainfall advisory

(Eagle News) — A thunderstorm advisory has been raised over Metro Manila.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rain showers with possible lightning and strong winds are also expected over Bulacan in the next two hours.

A rainfall advisory, meanwhile, is raised over parts of Pangasinan and Nueva Vizcaya.

According to PAGASA, light to moderate rains are so far being experienced over Burgos, Mabini, Alaminos City and Sual in Pangasinan and Dupax del Sur in Nueva Vizcaya.

PAGASA said these conditions  may persist for one to two hours and may affect nearby areas.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slopes are advised for possible landslides, mudslides, rock slides and flash floods,” PAGASA said.
