(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Laguna today.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Batangas and Quezon as well within the next two hours.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers on the other hand are expected over Bicol, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
PAGASA said these conditions were due to localized thunderstorms.
These areas will also have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas, the weather bureau said.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
