Thunderstorm advisory hoisted over parts of S. Luzon on Sunday, May 26

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory was hoisted over parts of Southern Luzon on Sunday, May 26.

In its recent advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are being experienced over portions of Catanduanes, Romblon and Oriental Mindoro and nearby areas.

The weather bureau said these could persist for one to two hours.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flashfloods and landslides,” PAGASA said.

“Keep monitoring for updates,” it added.
