Thunderstorm advisory hoisted over parts of Mindanao anew

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao anew.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration saidt moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Maguindanao and Sultan Kudarat within one to two hours.

These conditions are being experienced in Alamada, Banisilan, Carmen, Libungan in North Cotabato; Wao, Bumbaran, Lumba-Bayabao, Sultan-Dumalondong in Lanao del Sur; and in nearby areas.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impact associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
