(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Davao Occidental, Davao del Sur, Sarangani and South Cotabato.
PAGASA said the conditions which are due to thunderstorms will last for one to two hours.
These conditions are already felt in Davao Oriental Davao de Oro, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Hinatuan, Bislig, Lingig in Surigao del Sur, and in Sindangan, Salug, Liloy in Zamboanga del Norte.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impact associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
