(Eagle News) — A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of the country today, Dec. 11.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Maguindanao and Zamboanga del Sur within one to two hours.
PAGASA said this was due to thunderstorms.
These conditions are being experienced in Kalilangan, Pangantucan, Kadingilan in Bukidnon;Banisilan, Carmen, Alamada, Libungan in North Cotabato; Lumba-Bayabao, Wao, Bumbaran in Lanao del Sur; Maitum in Sarangani; and Palimbang in Sultan Kudarat.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impact associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
