(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay within 1 to 2 hours.
The same conditions are being experienced in Davao de Oro, particularly in Maco, Mawab, New Bataan and Nabunturan; in Davao del Norte, in Panabo, Carmen and Tagum; in Zamboanga del Norte, in Tampilisan, Godod, Kalawit and Bacungan; and in Bukidnon in Impasug-ong.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impact associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
