(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Metro Manila and nearby areas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said apart from Metro Manila, Bataan, Zambales, Laguna, Batangas, Tarlac, Cavite, Bulacan and Rizal will experience moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds within the next 2 hours.
PAGASA said the same conditions are being experienced in Mulanay, San Narciso, San Andres in Quezon; in Mabalacat, Angeles, Porac, Bacolor, San Fernando, Santo Tomas, Minalin, Macabebe, Masantol, Mexico and Candaba in Pampanga; and in General Tinio in Nueva Ecija.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” the weather bureau said.
