(Eagle News)–Tropical Depression “Kabayan” has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration made the announcement in its recent advisory.
PAGASA had said once “Kabayan” exits PAR, it will intensify into a Tropical Storm while moving westward towards the southern China – northern Vietnam area once outside.
As of 4 a.m., PAGASA said another LPA estimated at 515 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, is forecast to develop into Tropical Depression “Liwayway” within 48 hours.
Scattered light to moderate rains with at times heavy rain showers may also be experienced over Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and Western Visayas due to the southwest monsoon, the weather bureau said.
