The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 12:58 p.m., has its epicenter 13 kilometers northwest of Nasugbu. It had a depth of 193 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
