In a statement, the Department of Transportation said this was made possible by the addition of new stations and a new train set from Japan. Man killed after being hit by PNR train in Manila
(Eagle News)–A man was killed after a Philippine National Railways train ran over him on Wednesday, Dec. 19. PNR spokesperson Joseline Geronimo said in a radio interview the man crossed the railway in Pandacan, Manila past 6 a.m. as the train was moving. He was killed on the spot. Although the man has been identified, authorities preferred to withhold his name until after his family has been informed about what happened.
