3.5-magnitude earthquake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 161 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 6:24 a.m. PHIVOLCS said the depth of focus of the quake was 103 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.    

4.7-magnitude quake hits Oriental Mindoro

(Eagle News)–A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Oriental Mindoro early Tuesday, Sept. 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 14 kilometers northwest of Puerto Galera at 117 a.m. Depth of focus was 174 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was felt in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro; Bacoor City; and in Quezon City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.2-magnitude quake strikes off Aurora

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Aurora on Friday, Sept. 6. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 20 kilometers northeast of Casiguran at 12:38 p.m. Depth of focus was 10 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Thursday, Sept. 5. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 23 kilometers southeast of Don Marcelino at 1:37 p.m. Depth of focus was 144 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.4-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Monday, Aug. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 301 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 2:58 a.m. Depth of focus was 103 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar early Sunday, Aug. 18. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 77 kilometers northeast of Palapag at 5:09 a.m Depth of focus was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 29 kilometers northeast of Bayabas at 6:12 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 24 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Romblon

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Romblon on Tuesday night. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 6 kilometers southeast of San Jose at 9:54 p.m. Depth of focus was 9 kilometers. An intensity IV was felt in Malay, Aklan, PHIVOLCS said. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.9-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Saturday, July 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 196 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 1:29 p.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude earthquake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, May 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 2 kilometers northwest of Mati at 5:46 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 25 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded from the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin.

4.2-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Thursday, May 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 20 kilometers southwest of Calatagan at 11:39 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 129 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
