4.7-magnitude quake hits Oriental Mindoro

(Eagle News)–A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Oriental Mindoro early Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 14 kilometers northwest of Puerto Galera at 117 a.m.

Depth of focus was 174 kilometers.

An instrumental intensity I was felt in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro; Bacoor City; and in Quezon City.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
