(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Cagayan on Saturday, March 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:20 p.m. Its epicenter was 84 kilometers northwest of Calayan. The depth of focus was 25 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.5-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, Feb. 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:51 a.m. Its epicenter was 392 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. The depth of focus was 51 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.0-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur early Saturday

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Saturday, Feb. 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:19 a.m. The epicenter was 57 kilometers northeast of Lingig. The depth of focus was four kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.9-magnitude earthquake strikes off Occidental Mindoro early Thursday

(Eagle News)–A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Occidental Mindoro early Thursday, Feb. 1. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:46 a.m. The epicenter was 13 kilometers northwest of Abra de Ilog. The depth of focus was 11 kilometers. (Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Northern Samar on Wednesday, Jan. 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:38 a.m. The epicenter was 49 kilometers northeast of Mapanas. The depth of focus was six kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.2-magnitude earthquake strikes off Eastern Samar

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar early Saturday, Jan. 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:21 a.m. The epicenter was 26 kilometers northeast of Hernani, while the depth of focus was 10 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were reported: Instrumental Intensities: Intensity I – Quinapondan, Eastern Samar; City of Catbalogan, Samar No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

4.6-magnitude earthquake hits Surigao del Norte early Friday, Nov. 3

(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Friday, Nov. 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:12 a.m. The epicenter was 23 kilometers northeast of Burgos. The depth of focus was 17 kilometers. The following linstrumental intensity was reported: Intensity I- Surigao City. Surigao del Norte No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

3.5-magnitude quake hits Batanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Sunday, Sept. 6. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:18 a.m., had its epicenter 15 kilometers southeast of Sabtang. It had a depth of one kilometer and was tectonic in origin. An intensity II was reported in Basco. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

2.7-magnitude earthquake hits Eastern Samar

(Eagle News)–A 2.7-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar on Saturday, March 30. The earthquake hit 39 kilometers northeast of San Policarpo at 5:12 a.m. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 32 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
