4.5-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:51 a.m.

Its epicenter was 392 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos.

The depth of focus was 51 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
