Storm leaves Philippine area of responsibility
According to the PAGASA, “Queenie” has left the Philippine area of responsibility, going west to the Philippine Sea. Public storm signal 1 is raised in the Calamian Group of Islands. Another low pressure area is forming near Mindanao.
Cold weather in northern portions of the country
In a weather bulletin released by the PAGASA, cold weather continues to prevail in the northern part of the country due to the “amihan”.
