(Eagle News)—A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Pangasinan and Nueva Vizcaya. In an advisory issued at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, the  Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are being experienced over portions of Mangatarem, Pangasinan; and Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya. Bus falls into deep ravine in Nueva Ecija; At least 24 killed

  CARRANGLAN, Nueva Ecija (Eagle News) — A passenger bus fell into a deep ravine killing at least 24 passengers, and injuring several others on Tuesday (April 18) in Barangay Capintalan in this town. The Leomarick bus came from Isabela and was bound for Candon, Ilocos Sur when it fell into the ravine. Fifteen people were dead on the spot.
