(Eagle News) — The personnel involved in the hasty disinfection of Metro Rail Transit-3 trains as seen in a viral video will be relieved from their posts. MRT-3 deploys 19 train sets

Says no unloading incident recorded since June (Eagle News)–The MRT-3 has deployed 19 train sets to accommodate more passengers in the main line. The MRT-3 said the train sets, composed of 16 CKD train sets and three Dalian train sets, will also help the MRT-3  minimize the waiting interval between trains. 93 new airconditioning units installed in MRT-3 trains

(Eagle News)–The Department of Transportation has announced the installation of 93 new airconditioning units in Metro Rail Transit-3 trains. The DOTr said the units were apart from the 33 installed in August and the 60 installed in 2018. The agency said Sumitomo MHI-TESP  purchased over 120 airconditioning units worth P167 million under the comprehensive rehabilitation of the MRT-3. MRT-3 trains from N. Ave to Shaw Boulevard, vice versa, now operational

(Eagle News)–Operations of the Metro Rail Transit-3 have partially resumed. In a recent advisory, the MRT-3 said now operational were the trains going from North Avenue Station to Shaw Boulevard Station and vice versa. So far, repair work to restore the full service in the entire line is still ongoing.
