(Eagle News)–The Department of Transportation has announced the installation of 93 new airconditioning units in Metro Rail Transit-3 trains.
The DOTr said the units were apart from the 33 installed in August and the 60 installed in 2018.
The agency said Sumitomo MHI-TESP purchased over 120 airconditioning units worth P167 million under the comprehensive rehabilitation of the MRT-3.
The MRT-3 earlier announced the old railway tracks would be replaced by 4053 new railway pieces from November to February 2021.
