Under the expanded number coding scheme, more areas in Metro Manila were included in the policy. Also, the time period was extended up to 8 in the evening. The expanded number coding scheme aims to lessen traffic during the holiday season.

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is finalizing details in its plan to directly handle the management of traffic flow in Metro Manila.
