(Eagle News) — The Metro Manila Development Authority together with transport groups agreed to set up jeepney stops for passengers along Commonwealth Avenue to España in Manila to help reduce traffic congestion.
In an interview in the NET25 program, “Saganang Mamamayan,” MMDA Chairman Thomas “Tim” Orbos said that the plan to set up jeepney stops will help the riding public, and will drastically reduce traffic congestion, especially along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, and along España Boulevard in Manila.
“Yung Jeepney stops will happen, and the intention is not just to help in traffic but also for passenger’s convenience,” Orbos said.
