(Eagle News) — The United States Embassy in Manila will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25. In a statement, the US Embassy said its affiliated offices will also be closed on those days. Operations in those offices will resume on Wednesday, Dec. 26, the US Embassy said.
(Eagle News)–The number-coding scheme for provincial buses is suspended from December 21, 2018 to January 2, 2019. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority made the announcement on Thursday, Dec. 20. Filipinos are expected to go to the provinces during the holidays. There is no announcement yet on whether there would be a suspension of the scheme for private vehicles.
