DFA, consular offices closed on Dec. 26, 2018 and Jan. 2, 2019

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs and  its consular offices will be closed on December 26, 2018 and January 2, 2019.

The DFA made the announcement in a statement on Saturday, Dec. 22.

According to the DFA, those with passport appointments on Dec. 26 will be accommodated from December 27 to 29 and January 3 to 15.

It said they should go to their original site of appointment, except on Saturdays.

The suspension of services is in line with  Memorandum Circular No. 55 and Memorandum Circular No. 54 issued by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea that suspended work in government offices on those days.
