(Eagle News)—-The firearms of Metro Manila policemen will no longer be sealed in time for the holidays.
In a radio interview, National Capital Region Police Office chief Guillermo Eleazar, said this was because “parang mali. Umpisa palang wala ka nang tiwala.”
He noted that since police authorities no longer sealed the firearms of their men during the holidays, there have been less incidents of indiscriminate firing.
He gave the assurance the police would be deployed across the metro to ensure peaceful holidays.
“..We will maximize the availability of our personnel para magbantay..,” he said.
