(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Tarlac on Tuesday, April 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:41 p.m., had its epicenter 2 kilometers northwest of Tarlac City. It had a depth of 13 kilometers. The following intensities were recorded: Intensity II – Palayan City, Nueva Ecija Intensity I – San Jose, Nueva Ecija No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

3.6-magnitude quake hits Sarangani

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Sarangani early Tuesday, April 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3:27 a.m., had its epicenter 40 kilometers southwest of Maasim. It had a depth of 37 kilometers. The quake was recorded at an intensity I in Kiamba, Sarangani and in General Santos City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Cavite

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Cavite on Monday, April 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 11:04 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers southeast of Silang. It had a depth of two kilometers. The following intensities are reported: Intensity II – Tanauan City, Batangas Intensity I – Talisay, Batangas No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.8-magnitude quake hits Leyte

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 7:34 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers southeast. It had a depth of one kilometer. The following intensities were recorded: Instrumental Intensities: Intensity III – Ormoc City Intensity II – Naval, Biliran Intensity I – Borongan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.    

4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 12:42 p.m., had its epicenter 74 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. It had a depth of 23 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.8-magnitude quake hits Sorsogon

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Sorsogon on Thursday, April 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:44 a.m., had its epicenter 2 kilometers northwest of Magallanes. It had a depth of 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 10:22 p.m., had its epicenter 420 kilometers southeast of South Ubian. It had a depth of three kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Antique

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Antique on Monday, April 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 9:22 a.m., had its epicenter 18 kilometers northwest of Patnongon. It had a depth of focus of five kilometers. Instrumental I was recorded in San Jose de Buenavista, Sebaste and Culasi. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

5.1-magnitude quake strikes Davao Occidental: PHIVOLCS

(Eagle News)–A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Sunday, April 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 352 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:23 a.m. Its depth was 14 kilometers. No damage to property was recorded but aftershocks were.

5.5-magnitude jolts Davao Occidental coast

(Eagle News)–A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Davao Occidental early Saturday, April 11. This was hours after a 6.0-magnitude quake hit Basco, Batanes. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 141 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 2:45 a.m., more than two hours after the Basco quake.
