(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Southern Leyte on Wednesday, April 22.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 5:43 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers northwest of Saint Bernard.
It had a depth of three kilometers.
The following intensities were reported:
Intensity IV – Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte
Intensity III – Anahawan, Hinunangan, Hinundayan, San Juan and Sogod, Southern Leyte
Intensity II – Liloan, Southern Leyte
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
