4.2-magnitude quake hits Tawi-Tawi on Monday night

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Tawi-Tawi on Monday night.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 10:22 p.m., had its epicenter 420 kilometers southeast of South Ubian.

It had a depth of three kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
