LTFRB main office closed for disinfection

US Embassy, affiliated offices closed on Monday, Oct. 14

(Eagle News)–The United States Embassy will be closed on Monday, Oct. 14. In an advisory, the US embassy also closed were its affiliated offices. The advisory said this was in celebration of Columbus Day, an American holiday which commemorates the arrival of Christopher Columbus to the Americas. The US embassy said regular operations will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

In a statement, the embassy said this was in observance of Memorial Day, when those who died while serving in the US military are honored. Newark airport closed after engine fire prompts plane evacuation

WASHINGTON, United States (AFP) – Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey temporarily shut down late Tuesday after an engine fire prompted the evacuation of an airplane, officials said.
