Duterte names new immigration deputy commissioner, Sandiganbayan justice
(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has named a new Sandiganbayan justice and a new immigration deputy commissioner. Appointed as anti-graft court judge was Makati City Regional Trial Court Judge Ronald Moreno, who replaces now-Supreme Court justice Alexander Gesmundo. Lawyer Aldwin Alegre, for his part, takes the post vacated by Aimee Torrefranca-Neri at the Bureau of Immigration. Torrefranca-Neri had resigned in April last year.
