Suspect in killing of radio broadcaster in Negros Oriental surrenders

(Eagle News) — A suspect in the killing of a radio broadcaster in Negros Oriental has surrendered to authorities.

Patrolman Roger Rubio of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company gave himself up to his superior, Police Lt. Col. Judymar de Leon, around 6 p.m. on November 13.

It was unclear what Rubio’s role was in the killing of Dindo Generoso.

Apart from Rubio, authorities have suspects Teddy Salaw, Glen Corsame, and Tomasino Aledro in their custody.

Generoso, who worked for 96.7 Bai Radio, was ambushed while on board his vehicle in Barangay Piapi, Dumaguete City last Nov. 7.
