Southwest monsoon affects Northern, Central Luzon

(Eagle News)–The southwest monsoon will bring rains in parts of the country as it affects Northern and Central Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Services Administration said  Zambales, Bataan, Palawan and Mindoro provinces will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized
thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
