Sotto: President Duterte has submitted full report on gov’t action vs COVID-19

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has sent Congress his first-ever report on the government’s action on the coronavirus disease 2019 crisis.

Senate President Tito Sotto said the full report was sent early this morning.

“Sending it to the members of the oversight,” he said, referring to the oversight committee of Congress tasked to review the weekly reports specified under the Bayanihan We Heal as One Act that granted President Duterte additional powers to address the public health emergency.

Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, Senators Pia Cayetano, Bong Go, and Panfilo Lacson were assigned to the Congressional Joint Oversight Committee.

Sotto said he has not read the report.
