Some M. Manila roads to undergo reblocking, repair starting tonight

(Eagle News) –Expect heavy traffic in some roads in Metro Manila over the weekend.

The Department of Public Works and Highways said the following roads will undergo rehabilitation work starting 11 p.m. on Friday, November 22:

EDSA

  • Portion of P. Tuazon Flyover approaching Boni Serrano Flyover, 2nd innermost lane, 2nd lane beside railway
  • northbound lane after Aurora Boulevard up to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk

Quezon City

  • southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue between 11th Avenue to J. Manuel Street, 2nd lane from sidewalk
  • G. Araneta from Bayanin Road intersection
  • westbound lane of General Luis Street from Rebisco Road to SB Diversion Road
  • Elliptical Road after Maharlika Street, 8th lane from outer sidewalk
  • northbound direction of Katipunan Avenue/Circumferential Road 5 (C5) after C. P. Garcia, 3rd lane from center island.

The DPWH said the repair work will end on Monday, Nov. 25, at 5 a.m.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
