Some M. Manila roads scheduled to undergo repair, reblocking

(Eagle News)–Some roads in Metro Manila are scheduled to undergo reblocking and repair.

The Department of Public Works and Highways said work on the following roads started at 11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4:

EDSA

  • southbound from Magallanes-Baclaran bus stop to Magallanes-Alabang bus stop, outer lane
  • southbound from Camp Crame Gate 1 to MRT Annapolis Station, 2nd lane from sidewalk
  • southbound from Roosevelt Avenue to Bulacan Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk
  • northbound from Gate 4 to Gate 3, 2nd lane from center island
  • northbound after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk

C5/Katipunan Avenue

  • after C.P. Garcia Street, truck lane

A. Bonifacio Ave. 

  • northbound from Marvex Drive to Balingasa, 1st lane from sidewalk

General Luis Street

  • westbound from Samote Street to SB Diversion Road

Quirino Highway

  • eastbound from Salvia Street to before Belfast Road, inner lane

Elliptical Road

  • eastbound after Maharlika Street, 7th lane from outer sidewalk

G. Araneta Avenue

  • southbound from Baloy Street to Landragon Street, 2nd lane from sidewalk

The work will end on Monday, Oct. 7, at 5 a.m.

Motorists were advised to use alternate routes.
