Signal No. 2 still hoisted over Catanduanes due to TS “Ramon”; six areas under Signal No. 1

(Eagle News)–Tropical Cyclone Wind  Signal Number 2 remains hoisted over Catanduanes as Tropical Storm “Ramon” continues to move west-northwestward.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon, Eastern Samar and Northern Samar on the other hand are under Signal No. 1 as “Ramon,” last spotted 355 kilometers east of Legazpi City, Albay or 300 km East of Virac, Catanduanes, packed maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.

It is moving at 10 kph.

Today, light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains will be experienced over Bicol Region and the eastern portions of Isabela and Cagayan, PAGASA said.

Sea travel is risky, especially for small sea craft, over the seaboards of areas under the signal, the seaboards of Northern Luzon, and the eastern seaboards of Aurora and Quezon including Polillo Islands due to prevailing or forecast rough sea conditions.
