QUEZON City, Philippines – Senator Antonio Trillanes IV supported the resolution filed by Senator Leila De Lima regarding the invitation of special United Nations rapporteur to look into the alleged extra-judicial killings in the Philippines.
Under Senate Resolution 153, Senator De Lima asked the Department of Foreign Affairs to invite UN special rapporteurs to investigate the alleged extra-judicial killings and summary executions.
Senator Trillanes said that an independent and internationally organization should look into the matter of the extra-judicial killings.
