QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Senator Ralph Recto appealed to President Rodrigo Duterte to give presidential clemency to elderly and sick prisoners this holiday season.
According to Senator Recto, the tradition of freeing prisoners during the holiday season should be kept and that if the administration had set political prisoners free, it should also set free ordinary prisoners.
