QUEZON City, Philippines – Senate Committee on Climate Change Chairperson Loren Legarda asked the government to be prepared for the coming of the “La Niña” phenomenon which will bring strong rains in the coming months. Legarda added that the government should use the funds allocated for disaster preparedness. Also, communities in landslide-prone areas should be relocated.
