Senator Juan Ponce Enrile has requested from Sandiganbayan that he be allowed to stay at the PNP General Hospital in Camp Crame.
In the motion for detention at the PNP General Hospital, the Senator wished that the Hospital Administrator be given authority to decide regarding his immediate access or temporary visit to other hospitals with bodyguards to accompany him from the PNP to ensure his safe return to the camp.
This is due to the lack of medical facilities that will cater to the Senator’s needs.
One example that he stated was his regular intra vitreal injection and other medical needs.
