MANILA, Philippines – Senator Ralph Recto asked the Commisison on Elections and the Department of Education to consider a Php 1000 increase on the honorarium to be received by the Board of Election Inspectors. The senator made the suggestion after the COMELEC decided to extend the duty of the BEI to 11 hours or from 6 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.
