(Eagle News)–Vice President Leni Robredo has been given tighter security after she accepted her designation as co-chair of the Inter-Agency Committee Against Illegal Drugs.
This is according to Barry Gutierrez, Robredo’s spokesperson, in an interview over dzmm on Saturday, Nov. 9.
According to Gutierrez, the vice president, after all, would be up against drug syndicates now.
Guitierrez said any help from President Rodrigo Duterte would be welcome.
Earlier, Robredo said she would push through with the drug war but without what she said were the senseless killings.
The Palace has said they hoped Robredo would get a picture of the realities on the ground once she joined illegal drug operations.
It also urged the public to give Robredo space to implement her own anti-illegal drugs scheme.
