Robredo defers release of drug war report

(Eagle News)–Vice President Leni Robredo deferred the release of her report on the drug war, following the 6.9-magnitude quake that struck Davao del Sur.

Robredo, who was supposed to release the report today, said there was a need to give attention to victims of the quake, which has claimed at least three lives.

Robredo was co-chair of the Inter-Agency Committee Against Illegal Drugs until she was fired by President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Palace had cited Robredo’s taunts she should be fired if Duterte did not trust her as the reason for her dismissal.

“Pinagbigyan ka na nga, binastos mo pa,” the Palace said.
