Reelectionist senator Villar maintains lead in Senate race; no Otso Diretso bet in winning circle

(Eagle News)–Reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar continued to lead the senatorial race three days after the elections, based on partial and unofficial results coming from the Commission on Elections transparency server.

As of 8:34 a.m., Villar had 24,934,651 votes, over three million votes more than Grace Poe’s  21,781,178.

Bong Go was still in third place, with 20,263,331 votes.

4. Pia Cayetano – 19,493,076 votes

5. Bato dela Rosa – 18,625,541 votes

6. Sonny Angara – 17,920,254 votes

7. Lito Lapid – 16,762,074 votes

8. Imee Marcos – 15,629,603 votes

9. Francis Tolentino – 15,230,368 votes

10. Bong Revilla – 14,421,363 votes

11. Koko Pimentel – 14,417,465 votes

12. Nancy Binay – 14,355,673 votes

JV Ejercito was in thirteenth place, with 14,123,893 votes, while Bam Aquino was in fourteenth with 14,003,126.

In fifteenth place was Jinggoy Estrada, with 11,219,120 votes.

The results represent 97.36 percent of canvassed nationwide election returns, or 85533 ERs of 87851.
