Raps filed vs suspects in killing of columnist in Pampanga

(Eagle News)–Charges have been filed against the suspects in the killing of a columnist and his companion in Pampanga.

The Presidential Task Force on Media Security said double murder charges have been filed against Armado Velasco, the alleged mastermind in the killing of Remate columnist Jupiter Gonzales and his companion Christopher Tiongson.

Also charged before the Pampanga Prosecutors Office were alleged accomplice Edgardo Cabrera and another “John Doe.”

Gonzales and Tiongson were killed reportedly after a heated argument with Velasco, a local public relations man, on Oct. 20.
