Rainshowers expected in parts of PHL today, May 24

(Eagle News)–Rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today, May 24, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

According to PAGASA, Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Aurora, Quezon and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms as a frontal system affects the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas.

Flashfloods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

The weather bureau said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Extreme Northern Luzon, the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas and the rest of the country will have light to moderate rains and slight to moderate coastal waters.
