Rains forecast in parts of PHL due to northeast monsoon, tail-end of a cold front

(Eagle News)-Rains are expected in parts of the country today, Jan. 20.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorm as the tail-end of a cold front affects Visayas.

PAGASA  said the rest of Visayas will have
cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms.

According to the weather  bureau, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Aurora, Mindoro Provinces, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with isolated light rains as the northeast monsoon affects Luzon.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains on the other hand.

PAGASA said Palawan and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
