Rains expected in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Rains are expected in parts of the country today, Dec. 10.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Bicol Region, Quezon, and Samar provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front affecting Bicol.

Flash floods or rain induced landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region and Aurora province will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon affecting this time the rest of Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Mindanao, Palawan, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time due to localized thunderstorms.
